PURPOSE:To always apply optimum quantity of heat to copying paper without changing the set temp. in a fixing device by performing the conveyance of the paper to a heat fixing part by a driving means separate from a main driving system, and making the conveyance speed thereof variable. CONSTITUTION:The toner is transferred onto copying paper 19, and the paper 19 stripped from a photosensitive drum 10 is attracted onto a conveying belt 24 and is conveyed to a fixing part 25. The belt is driven by a driving means separate from the main driving system so that the conveyance speed of this time equals to the peripheral speed of the drum 10. When the trailing end of the paper 19 spaces from the drum 10 and the paper 19 transfers onto the belt 24, said driving means varies the conveyance speed of the paper 19 via the speed variable means, thereby conveying the paper at the speed at which the quantity of heat it receives it made optimum so that the toner on the paper 19 is fixed well. |
