PURPOSE:To reduce bulk specific gravity and conduct the treatment of transportation, etc. after the reduction efficiently by heating thermoplastic waste such as foaming styrol during the time when the waste is transferred in a cylindrical kiln and melting and compressing it. CONSTITUTION:When treating thermoplastic waste, etc. to be treated, the waste to be treated is melted and compressed while being sent forward by means of a guide blade 2a of a kiln 2 and changed into a massive material when the waste to be treated is charged from a hopper 4 with a shutter 8 and heat is radiated from a radiator 3, turning the cylindrical kiln 2. The massive material to be treated falls into a receiving pan 6, in which water is entered, from a discharging port 5, and is solidified. Gas and an offensive smell generated in the treating process are discharged from exhausting cylinders 7 mounted to the upper section of a heat insulating cylinder body 1. Preferably, said cylindrical kiln 2 is formed by a punched plate with a large number of holes P or a punched steel plate. |
