PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight speaker diaphragm and to increase its Young's modulus by using woven fabric with a loose texture as a diaphragm base and by coating the base with a material obtained by mixing and dispersing fine hollow spheres into thermosetting resin liquid. CONSTITUTION:Into a thermosetting resin liquid 1, fine hollow spheres 2 are mixed at most <=1 in weight ratio and dispersed by being stirred well to prepare a coating solution. Woven fabric with a loose texture, on the other hand, is formed as a diaphragm base 3 for a speaker, onto which the coating solution is applied to constitute a diaphragm body 3a. Then, the diaphragm body 3a is formed by being pressured and heated to set the coating solution. Consequently, the manufacture of the disphragm is facilitated extremely and the low-density, lightweight and high-Young's-modulus diaphragm is obtained. |
