<p>PURPOSE:To input a character easily, by displaying qualified characters on the display (DP) part and selecting a desired ''Kana'' (Japanese syllabary) among said qualified characters, when a character which has been inputted by a voice input cannot be decided at once. CONSTITUTION:When Japanese language is inputted from a microphone 1, it is converted to an electric signal, is inputted to a voice recognition part 2, and is converted to a ''kana'' (Japanese syllabary) code. A control part 3 selects a pertinent Chinese character from a dictionary file 4 in accordance with a code which has been inputted, and sends it to a DP part 5 through a pattern memory part 6. In case when it cannot be recognized at once due to a low recognition rate of the recognition part 2, a qualified character in the recognition side is displayed on a display surface 5a by ''kana''. A ''kana'' display surface 9 displays a ''kana'' (Japanese syllabary) character corresponding to the array position of the Japanese syllabary keyboard. Since the display position of a ''kana'' character is decided in advance as to each ''kana'' only a qualified ''kana'' character which has been inputted by a voice is displayed on its position, and other ''kana'' characters are not displayed. Accordingly, a ''kana'' character can be found easily, and a desired ''kana'' character among qualified ''kana'' characters is inputted by the keyboard, etc. so as to correspond to the array.</p> |
