PURPOSE:To make measurement of good accuracy with ease by determining unknown unbalance quantity from the magnitude and direction of the unblance quantity synthesized by the unknown unbalance quantity and known weight quantity in the direction differing 90 deg. from said quantity. CONSTITUTION:A wheel 1 of a body to be examined, a pickup 2 for detecting vibration, a driving wheel 3, a motor 4 for driving, a rectifying and amplifying circuit 6, a meter 7 showing unbalance quantity, a position detecting and control circuit 8 for unbalance, an arithmetic circuit 11 and a display circuit 12 are provided. The wheel 1 put with a mark is rotated, and the 1st place of large unbalance is measured with flash light 10 at the prescribed period corresponding to the vibrations under rotation of the wheel 1. A known weight W is then mounted to the 2nd place differing by 90 deg. from that place. The 3rd place of unbalance after mounting this weight W is measured and the angle theta between the 2nd place and the 3rd place is known, thence from the equation I, the unblance quantity (w) of the wheel 1 is operated 11 and displayed 12. |
