PURPOSE:To check operation contents immediately to prevent the occurrence of an erroneous operation by enabling an optional electronic cash register (ECR) to monitor operation contents of other ECRs when a data exchange between ECRs is executed by a transmission control device provided in one of plural ECRs. CONSTITUTION:The first - the n-th ECRs R1-Rn are connected into a loop by transmission lines ADB such as address and data busses, and a transmission control device C is provided in the ECRR1, and data is exchanged mutually between ECRs R1-Rn. Each of ECRs R1-Rn is provided with a keyboard furnished with a switch means and a control switch means to select matrix code tables provided in the device C, a display equipment, a CPU, etc. Data which is being operated is transmitted to the ECRR1 from ECRs R2-Rn; and when this data is received by the device C of the ECRR1, the contents of this data are displayed on the display equipment under the control of the CPU, and thus operation contents of ECRs R1-Rn are displayed. |
