<p>The rectangular frame and casement can be used as a door or a window, using straight sections, of which those in opposite pairs are interchangeable. Left hand or right hand opening casements opening internally or externally are thus obtainable from a single range of components. Corner joints may use externally accessible connectors on the vertical neutral post axes, the hinge fittings being of the hook and cap type which are mounted by integral cantilever dowels entering blind post bores. The hinge dowels are horizontal to permit inversion for reverse hanging, the unit having weatherseals, casement bolts and latch bolts if required.</p> |
