The seed drill has single-disc shares, alongside which are depth regulators adjustable for height. The regulators (6) are mounted in the areas (17) alongside the shares (1) swept free of lumps of earth (14). They can be in the form of rollers, or of smoothing shoes (10) and mounted on the seed outlet spouts (5). The design gives more accurate depth control.
