PURPOSE:To manufacture an in-line hologram lens easily by passing a spherical wave beam through a small window of a total reflection mirror to make an object wave, and irradiating this together with the reflected wave of the mirror as reference wave to a hologram medium. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam is made to a divergent spherical wave beam by using a lens. This beam is entered to a mother lens L1 to make a spherical wave beam having no aberrations. This is passed through the small window W of a total reflection mirror MR at the point P in such a manner that its optical axis X aligns with the normal of a compensation plate V and the photosensitive layer K of a hologram recording medium HR1, after which it is passed through the compensation plate V and is irradiated as a recording object beam A to the layer K of the medium HR1. Further, the laser beam is turned to a different direction, after which it is reflected on the mirror MR, is passed through the plate V and is irradiated as a recording reference wave beam to the layer K of the medium HR1. Thereby, a circular in-line hologram lens part HL is formed in the center of the layer K, and after development, an in-line hologram lens IN-L is made. |
