<p>The automatic release mechanism is for ground-working implements mounted on a tractor etc., particularly tines, the implement hinging on its mounting about a fixed transverse axis. There is an additional coupling between the implement (6) and the mounting (2), consisting of a pair of toggle links (8,9) hinging together on a transverse axis (10), and by other such axes (11,3) on the mounting and implement respectively. The folding assembly can be held in the extended position by springs (12), and there can be an adjustable stop (15) on one of the toggle links, bearing against the other so as to limit the amount of maximum extension. This adjusts the force opposed to forward implement movement necessary to cause its release.</p> |
