PURPOSE:To attach toner particles in response to the strength of charges induced inside a recording body by an electrode by using a latent image forming film consisting of a dielectric having a high insulating property and the toner particles with high resistance, which have charges previously. CONSTITUTION:This invention relates to a device which uses a multistylus electrode and records an intermediate picture corresponding to applied voltage on plain paper. When a recording body 4 consisting of a dielectric having a high insulating property is contacted with a recording electrode 1 and negative voltage 5 is applied to an electrode needle 2 in response to picture signals, internal charges are induced to the recording body, and negative charges appear on the surface. Here, when a magnet 7 is fixed into a rotating sleeve 6 and toners 9 charged to positive charges are approached by means of carriers 8, the toners attach on the recording body by electrostatic force. When voids are regarded as extremely narrow, the quantity of charges Q stored in the recording body is CdV+Q0Cd/Ct, and adhering toners increase in proportion to voltage V applied to the recording electrode. |
