The striker tap double control is for a fire extinguisher, and has two triggers pivoting in opposition to a spring and about a common axis on the extinguisher head. These act in succession on a sliding rod on which is mounted a perforating needle and a sealing one. The first punctures the sealing cap on the cartridge containing the extinguishing chemical and the second opens the valve plug.
