The device is applied to welding generators for ensuring safework. It controls the excitation winding of the generator of thewelding machine, securing safe voltage at the leads of thegenerator when it is revolving but no work is being done by it andthe necessary output voltage when welding operations are inprogress. The device includes a channel for current control andchannel for voltage control and monitoring controlling a logicalunit forming a control signal of a powerful amplifier connected tothe excitation winding of the welding generator. The devicecontrols the output voltage of the generator by reducing it andmaintaining it within preset safe limits with a switched ongenerator when no welding operations are being performed, and thenecessary output voltage being secured during operations./!
