PURPOSE:To reduce the husking loss of soybeans, etc., by contacting the surface of the object to be treated, e.g. soybeans, with the flow of mist generated by an ultrasonic humidifier, just before the husking treatment with a grinding roll made of grindstone. CONSTITUTION:The feed screw 10 and the grinding roll 2 are rotated. The object to be treated, e.g. soybeans, is dropped from the hopper 11, and brought into contact at the neck 11a of the hopper 11 with the flow of humid mist generated by the ultrasonic humidifier 14 and sent through the humid air supply pipe 15. The humidified object is transferred into the husking chamber 5, and subjected to the grinding action by the grinding roll 2 made of grindstone. The husked object is discharged through the outlet 16, and separated into the husk and the core by an air elutriator. |
