At least one fitting part (4) has at least one fastened baseplate (8), on which the fitting part is held so as to be displaceable and so as to be capable of being clamped in various positions. The object of the invention is to improve substantially the adjustability of the fitting parts relative to one another. For this purpose, two baseplates (8', 8'') have holes (10) for receiving fastening screws (7). In a specific relative position of the baseplates (8', 8'') and fitting part (4), these holes (10) are aligned with passage holes (11) in the fitting part (4). The baseplates (8', 8'') possess, in the direction of the intended adjustability of the fitting (4), an undercut, for example dovetailed or T-shaped profiling, with which a complementary profiling (14) of the fitting part (4) is in engagement. Arranged in the fitting part (4) are clamping pieces (9', 9'') which can be braced against the end face (16) of the baseplates (8', 8''). <IMAGE>
