Boiler feed water heat recovery circuit - uses expansion stages with tanks in cascade connected to thermo-compressors for steam extraction

The method of recuperating heat from boiler feed water uses five expansion stages in cascade connected to a compression system, with their outputs connected via a tank to a common steam collector line. Each tank is connected to the next tank by a line incorporating a control valve and has a steam output line. The first four output lines are connected to two thermocompressors which discharge the steam into the tank. The fifth output line is connected to a condenser giving a hot water supply and the cooled feed water is discharged to a tank. The contents of the tank are pumped through a heat exchanger system which includes a final series of heat exchangers which heat the water before return to the expansion stages.
