The drilling template is intended for drilling aligned bores in surfaces which are at right angles to one another, particularly bores for dowel connection in the end face of one board (1) and a side face of another (2). It comprises an L-shaped guide element (70) carrying a slidably adjustable (76) plate (10,12) on each of its two ends (72,74). Each plate has at least one drill locating bush (52) arranged in a plane which is parallel to the median plane of the element. The slide plates may have T-section grooves engaged by the respective ends (72,74) of the element.
