The tube dia. reducing rolling mill consists of several working rolls (1) working together with a mandrel (5) fitted on the stem (10) of a mandrel holder (6). Each working roll (1) consists of a shaping part (2) and a smoothing part (3) with a shoulder (4) between the two parts provided for a thorough kneading effect on the material. The mandrel is fitted on the mandrel holder (6) in a manner ensuring a pre-determined position of the mandrel. The mandrel has on its inlet end a cylindrical section (7), followed by a tapered section (9) connecting to the cylindrical section (8) on the outlet end. The tapered connection can be either rectilinear or of a hyperbolic shape.
