A process for the production of shaped catalysts which are based on crystalline aluminosilicates and have a minimum diameter of greater than 1 mm and a maximum diameter of less than 20 mm, in which mouldings having a minimum diameter of greater than 1 mm and a maximum diameter of less than 20 mm and essentially comprising amorphous aluminosilicate having an aluminium oxide content of from 0.1 to 20% by weight, together with aliphatic C2- to C24-amines or cycloaliphatic C4- to C24-amines and/or ammonium salts corresponding to these aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic amines and/or to the quaternary ammonium compounds obtainable from these amines by quaternisation, are subjected to temperatures of from 50 to 250 DEG C in an aqueous medium at a pH greater than 8 and are subsequently washed, dried and calcined at from 400 to 600 DEG C. Compared with known processes for the production of such catalysts which start from soluble or partially soluble silicas or silica derivatives, the catalysts produced according to the invention have the advantage of ready accessability and a number of other advantages. |
