Blocks (1,2) are directly supported on each other, with no mortar layer interposed, and are profiled so as to form grooves along the joints between them, in masonry, esp. for residential buildings, with min. skill required. Grooves are at least partially filling with a sealing substance, covering the joints. Grooves can be made up from peripheral cutouts in adjacent blocks (1,2) with cross-section pref. symmetrical to the joint plane. They can have at least one undercut section, and be pref. filled with mortar only in this area. They may be T-shaped in cross-section, with rounded arms. The wall is well sealed against damp penetration.
|
