<p>Axle construction for vehicles, especially for off-the-road vehicles or tractors, comprising a rigid, centrally pivoted oscillating axle (10) suspended in relation to the frame (15) of the vehicle at its central part, an auxiliary frame (13) to which are fixed axle bearings (12a, 12b) permitting the rocking of the said axle (10), and a spring assembly (16) between the auxiliary frame (13) and the frame (15) of the vehicle for permitting the vertical yield of the auxiliary frame in relation to the frame of the vehicle. The auxiliary frame is pivoted at its one end by fulcrum pins transverse to the moving direction of the vehicle. If the auxiliary frame (13) is placed under the axle (10) to be suspended, it forms itself or thereto can be attached a bottom armour. </p> |
