PURPOSE:To distinguish the signal to be detected and the noises by providing an input pulse height discriminating circuit and a pulse width discriminating circuit, and performing the pulse-waveform discrimination. CONSTITUTION:When an input signal A exceeds a discriminating level Vo established by VR1 in a discriminator U1, an output B having a pulse width tw1 is obtained. The output B drives a inverted waveform C having a specified pulse width tw0 is obtained in the monostable multivibrator U3 through a polarity inverting circuit U2. An inverted waveform C having a specified pulse width tw0 is obtained in the monostable multivirator U3. Then, the waveform B and the waveform C are added and the result is inverted in an inverting AND circuit U4, and a waveform D is generated. The waveform D is outputted between tw0 and tw1 only when tw0> tw1. In the case of noises, since the output waveform D is not generated, the signal A is discriminated. |
