The artificial reverberation generator employs a unidimensional wave guide (1) achieved by means of digital circuits, comprising at least two line sections of different lengths. Each section is comprised of two parallel delay digital arrangements, one for each propagation direction (2, 3), and between two adjacent sections there is arranged at least one three access adaptor used in the digital filtering art. Two out of the three accesses of the adaptor are each connected to one of the two adjacent terminations of said two line sections, whereas the depending access of a three access adaptor is connected to a selective absorber made by using the digital technique. With the digital realisation of a unidimensional wave guide provided with reflection points and absorbers, it is possible to obtain a diffuse reverberation and with a programmable frequential response of the reverberation time of a signal without having to support a reduction of the signal-to-rate ratio by limit cycles. |
