PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform dry processing easily in safety by satisfying at least one of three conditions that one of a coloring layer or a transfer layer contains a binder having a glass transition point higher than a specified level, contains a binder having number-average molecular weight higher than a specified level, or contains a binder having degree of polymerization higher than a specified level. SOLUTION: The image forming material has a plurality of layers on one support including at least one coloring layer or a transfer layer and at least one layer containing a cobalt (III) complex having at least one of ammonia or a first class amine as a ligand. The image forming material contains at least one of unstabilizer or a precursor thereof and a compound having a light absorption wavelength being varied by ammonia and first class amine. At least one of the coloring layer or the transfer layer satisfies at least one of three conditions that the layer contains a binder having glass transition point of 50 deg. or above, contains a binder having number-average molecular weight of 20,000 or above or contains a binder having the degree of polymerization of 300 or above.
