PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give anti-thrombotic properties to a simply stabilized material surface with less restriction and enhance the vital organism safeness by adding hydrophilic methacrylate monomers to a compound of ultraviolet cured resin. SOLUTION: Anti-thrombotic compound is prepared from hydrophilic methacrylate monomers such as N,N-dimethyl-aminoethyl methacrylate, an ultraviolet cured resin such as epoxy acrylate, and a light polymerization initiating agent. More than 90% of all functional radicals should be methacryloyl radicals. Example of the ultraviolet cured resin is light polymerizing monomers which may include functional radicals such as acryloyl radicals in the molecule. The light polymerization initiating agent should be of benzoil ether series, etc. A catheter tube 2, for example having one lumen, is covered with this compound 3 so that anti-thrombotic one-lumen catheter tube 1 is accomplished. Thereby blood clotting is inhibited, and it is possible to prevent drop of the anti-thrombus effect on the compound surface resulting from elusion etc. |
