<p>Display board, such as for notices etc. has a front plate in which panels can be removably fitted and interchanged, a stiffening rib pref. around the edge of this front plate, and a rear plate of plastics; this rear plate has the fixings directly mounted on it, which are used for attaching the notice board to the support post. Pref. these fixings are integrally formed in the same plastics material as the rear plate. Pref. material for the rear plate and the fixings is a plastics material based upon polycarbonate and possessing high strength, stiffness, heat resistance and impact strength. The fixing for attaching to the post may comprise a half-round section having slots near its edges and stiffening ribs between the edges of the section and the rear plate. With this arrangement, the need for a separate plate, typically of aluminium for attaching to the post, is eliminated.</p> |
