PURPOSE:To correct the load unbalance, by temporarily allotting the load concentratedly to either one of upper and lower rolls when a load unbalance generates during a rolling work. CONSTITUTION:The generation of a load unbalance in members of a rolling mill is judged, and a set point of a setter 102, for setting the blind zone is controlling the load balance, is set at an optional percentage, and at the same time, a load balance controlling switch 112A is turned on. Hereby, the region of load balance bulind zone is determined, and the detector 103 for the load balance blind zone sends out a signal to AND circuit 104; by the AND of this signal and the on-signal of the load balance control switch 112A, a set-reset signal generator 106 sends out a reset signal. Hereby, a junction 111 connected to an output terminal of the control circuit 101 for the load balance blind zone is turned off. By the present method, the setting of the blind zone region is made optional so that the cooperation with a roll system compensator make the countermeasure possible to be taken correspondingly to the condition, and the efficiency and quality are improved. |
