Tilting suspension for car - has chassis on pendant mounting with centrifugal force sensitive servos to tilt wheel supports

The tilting suspension for a car is designed to enable it to take corners in comfort and with a min. of tyre wear and energy loss. The chassis is supported on pendant suspension members at the height of the seat backs and the bonnet level. Main supports from the suspension control the settings of the parallel levers to the wheels as well as providing the engine- and transmission mountings. The wheels are tilted during cornering for max. grip. Sensors monitor the angular displacement of the main supports relative to the chassis as a function of the centrifugal force. The sensors control hydraulic servos to tilt the suspension into the curve, while raising the outer edge of the vehicle for comfort and stability.
