<p>A valve disc is capable of moving between a closed position in which it seals-off an opening formed in an enclosure and an open position in which it is withdrawn from the opening. The valve disc is maintained in its closed position when the pressure within the enclosure is below a predetermined value by means of back-pressure exerted by a pneumatic jack. Coupling means are provided for disconnecting the jack from the valve disc in the event of a fast pressure rise within the enclosure.</p> |
