PURPOSE:To prevent the positional shift and to improve the workability, by thermally melting the start of wind section of two sheets of stripe separator then winding spirally together with a stripe electrode board thereafter thermally cutting the contacting section between rear separators. CONSTITUTION:One stripe electrode board such as anode board 3, for example, is held between two sheets of stripe separators 1a, 1b, while the other cathode electrode board 4 is would around a core 6 at the outside of the separator 1b. The assembly of the separators 1a, 1b and the electrode boards 3, 4 is spirally wound to produce a spiral electrode group. Here the start of winding section 2 of the separator initially held by the core 6 is integrally melt in stripe through thermal processing, while the contacting section 5 of the separators 1a, 1b immediately before completion of winding is cut down by means of a cutting tool such as heated knife to produce a spiral electrode group 8 where the end section isn't shifted. |
