Level measurement electrode for conducting liquids - has several sensors on single rod adjusted using spindle providing continuous adjustment

The continuously adjustable level electrode can measure the level of conducting liquids point by point in containers, tanks, etc. When the sensor touches the liquid an electrical connection is made via the conducting liquid to a second contact or to the container wall. The electrical connection is processed further via a connected a.c. amplifier. The sensor requires only one rod or tube (1) on which are arranged several sensors which are continuously adjustable in height. All electrical connections are fed through a common connector top (2). The arrangement makes economical use of expensive materials. The adjustment of the contacts can be performed by using a single spindle (6) in the probe connector head (2).
