PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor easy to clean and having superior endurance by forming a layer of a water-soluble resin on a photoconductive layer contg. zinc oxide dispersed in a binding resin. CONSTITUTION:A layer of a water-soluble resin such as polyvinyl alcohol, an ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer or casein is formed on a photoconductive layer contg. zinc oxide powder dispersed in a binding resin such as styrene resin, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer resin. Thus, the cleanability is improved, and even in case of a receptor having a porous photoconductive layer blade cleaning which is the simplest method can be applied. In addition, the resin layer has an effect of preventing deterioration, so the endurance of the resulting receptor can be enhanced considerably. |
