<p>Arranged underneath the mould in a bow-type continuous casting plant is a strand guide (1, 3) which has two mutually opposite roller tracks (6, 9; 36, 40), the rollers (7, 10; 35, 39) of which are mounted on frame parts (4, 5; 37, 38), the spacing of mutually opposite frame parts (4, 5; 37, 38) and hence the spacing (41) of the roller tracks being adjustable in accordance with a strand cross-section to be set. In order to make changeover for the purpose of adjusting the spacing (41) of the mutually opposite roller tracks as simple as possible and at the same time to permit the spacing of the end rollers (10'; 39') of adjacent frame parts (5; 38) to be kept approximately the same size, the rollers (10, 10') of at least one of the roller tracks (9) are arranged displaceably on the frame part (5) in the longitudinal direction (26) of this roller track and can be fixed in different positions on the frame part (5). <IMAGE></p> |
