PURPOSE:To increase substantially the area of the photosensitive part, by providing an overflow drain in common to plural photosensitive parts to eliminate the overcharge and obtaining the signals from these photosensitive parts that are aligned in the horizontal scanning direction with different pitches. CONSTITUTION:A transfer part 21-1 is provided at the left side of a photosensitive part 22-1, and an overflow drain 23-1 is provided between the photosensitive parts 22-1 and 22-2. Two transfer parts 21-2 and 21-3 are provided between the photosensitive parts 22-2 and 22-3. The electric charge produced at each picture element by the light put into the part 22-1 is shifted simultaneously to the adjacent transfer part 21-1 in the vertical blanking period. At the part 21-1, the transferred electric charge is transferred successively to the lower side. Then the video signal sent from an output part 25 is delivered with a prescribed speed. |
