PURPOSE:To obtain lighting time suitable to photographic conditions by calculating the adequate lighting time and by outputting a flash controlling signal according to a lighting start signal. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic part 2 incorporated in a camera calculates proper lighting time on the basis of pieces of information on the photographic speed of a film, the diaphragm value of a lens, the guide number of a flash device, and the distance to an object. As a lighting start signal synchronizing with the exposure start signal of the camera is supplied to a flash controlling part 3, a flash controlling signal is outputted for the calculated proper lighting time for lighting. |
