PURPOSE:To take a test of a process dynamic characteristics suitable to an actual operation state, by carrying out the test of the characteristics of a process in a normal process operation state as it is. CONSTITUTION:The output value CS of a regulation part C and the output PS of a process part P are stored in a memory M temporarily and control is exercised with a detection output signal AS, detected by comparing momentary variation in output value PSi from the memory M with a value preset by a variation detector AD, for control by a test signal generator TD; and the test signal generator TD applies a test signal TS for a process characteristic test to the regulation part C to vary an operation signal CS, and also controls the start and end of the process characteristic test. In the memory M, on the other hand, the ever-changing output value PS from the process part P is stored temporarily and the ever-changing operation signal CS from the regulation part C is also stored temporarily to take the test of process characteristics while nearly holding a process control system in a normal operation state. |
