PURPOSE:To render operation of an operator very easy, by changing a copying number without suspending copying action, and rendering sequential control after the copying has been finished up to this changed number, different from that before its completion. CONSTITUTION:When a copying number is changed with ten keys 42 during operation of copying in an initially preset number, a stand-by signal DCOT2 is at H, and the number indicated with the keys 42 is set at a memory M2 for storing the changed number and displayed on a display device 44. A calculation circuit CAL1, upon indication of a controller CC, outputs the result of comparison between the number of the memory M2 and that of copying counted at a counter CNT1. When M2>CNT1, the copying is continued, and when the numbers of the memory M2 and the CNT1 coincide, it is stopped by the output of a coincidence detection circuit COIN2. Copying is carried out up to not the number of the memory M1 initially preset but that of the memory M2. When M2<CNT1, the controller CC decides that the count is up, stops copying, and displays the difference resulting from CAL1 on the display device 44, thus permitting operation to be extremely easy. |
