PURPOSE:To obtain an explicit picture, by a method wherein a device is constituted in the manner that a conductive anisotropic sheet, having a conductivity in the direction of the thickness, is used as an intermediate transfer sheet, and an ink image, which is fused and transferred thereto with Joule heat being generated resulting from energizing, is further transferred to an ordinary sheet. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer 2 is fed to a recording part from an ink feed source 1, in which ink, being fused by the heat, is housed, togetherwith a conductive supporter 3, and a voltage, corresponding to a picture signal, is applied to the ink layer 2 from a needle electrode 5 through a conductive anisotropy intermediate transfer sheet 4 having a conductivity in the direction of the thickness. This generates Joule heat in the ink layer 2, and fused ink is transferred to the intermediate transfer sheet 4 to obtain an ink picture 8 corresponding to the picture signal. Said picture 8 is transferred to an ordinary sheet 10 at a transfer part by means of a heat roller 9 to obtain a final recorded object. The intermediate transfer sheet 4 is cleaned by means of a cleaner 12 to be reused. |
