PURPOSE:To obtain an optical communication transmitting system without requiring a power supply at the signal transmission side, by providing a motor and a pump on one side and a hydraulic motor and an electric generator on another side, and linking them with an optical fiber and two flexible insulation fluid pipe lines. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic pump 4 is driven with a motor 3 powered by an external power supply 2 at a reception-side device 1, insulation oil is fed to a transmission-side device 11 via flexible insulation pipe lines 8 of a cable 20, a hydraulic motor 12 is rotated and the oil is returned to a pump 4 via a pipe line 9 and circulated. The motor 12 drives a generator 13 linked to the motor 12 for power generation and supplies electricity to an electrical device 14. The measured signal enters the device 14 from a circuit 16 and processed and becomes an optical signal at an electro-optical converter 15 and it is incident to an optical fiber 10 in a cable 20 and transmitted at the reception side and picked up from a circuit 17 as an electric signal through a photoelectric conversion 7 and an electric device 6. The transmission-side devices are located at high voltage level and the transmission-side devices are completely shielded with a conductive metal, allowing to perform stably the measurement from the location subjected to high voltages such as power supplies without being interferred by noise. |
