PURPOSE:To form an insulated film having an even thickness and excellent property and including SiO2, by burning the paste mainly composed of a silicon compound having a vinyl group on an insulated substrate containing an electrode of a liquid crystal display device after a screen print. CONSTITUTION:The paste mainly containing the silicon compound having a vinyl group such as CH2CHSi(OC2H4OCH3)3 plus the cellulose derivative (ethyl cellulose, etc.) is screen-printed on an insulated substrate for purposes of separation between the oriented film of liquid crystal or the substrate and an electrode. Then burning is carried out in a range of temperatures 300-500 deg.C to form an insulated film having an even thickness and containing SiO2. With use of the silicon compound, a high-quality film is obtained without such defects in which a change is caused for the viscosity due to an absorption of water or an internsive vaporization is given during a burning to reduce the residue of SiO2. |
