PURPOSE:To enable to operate a pair of transformers by increasing the amount of lood burdened on one transformer even the other stops its operation temporarily by a method wherein the cooling devices for respective transformers being collectively installed in one place are mutually connected each other by a connecting pipe. CONSTITUTION:A connecting valve 6 and an oil pipeline 7 are provided between each cooling device 2a, 2b to mutually connect both cooling devices 2a, 2b. The valve 6 is closed at normal operation and transformers are operated within the allowable load tolerance of each transformer. When one of the transformers is temporarily stopped for inspection or the like, the valve 6 is opened and the valve 4a of a transformer 1a which is out of operation or the valve 4b is closed and two cooling devices are used for one transformer to perform overload operation corresponding to an increase in cooling capacity. In this way, the capability of each cooling device can fully be utilized by opening or closing the valves even under an abnormal condition of suspending one of the transformers. |
