PURPOSE:To minimize the wear of a fur brush, by securing a switching of mode between cleaning and noncleaning for a strike-off member that strikes off the toner stuck to the fur brush. CONSTITUTION:For a fur brush cleaning device, the base part of a strike-off member 2 whose tip has a small curvature radius to a fur brush 1 is fixed by a pin 3, and the member 2 can be switched between a cleaning mode as shown by a solid line for cleaning and a noncleaning mode when the cleaning is unnecessary. This eliminates such trouble to give an independent driving between the fur brush and the whole copier or to turn on and off the fur brush. Furthermore a useless wear of the fur brush can be avoided if the brush is turned uselessly when cleaning. Thus the wear of the fur brush can be minimized. |
