This invention relates to a coin discrimination device of an automatic control system such as vending machine, public telephone, hairdryer, etc. If a user inserts coins (18), the coins come to the vicinity of a guide part through the path of the coin discriminator (7) and the coin outlet (9). The iron pin (14) which is fixed to the microswitch (12) presses the microswitch (12) and the ON operation is started. A coin inserting hole (2) and a returning hole and a lamp (4) are provided and guide connection plate (6) is fixed. The ON/OFF operations of a lead-in current, operation current and load current are performed simultaneously, and power dissipation is reduced.
