PURPOSE:To eliminate the unevenness of current allotment in the equipment of a large capacity such as one consisting of a thylistor and the like, for example, by a method wherein the condition of radiation of each element of a plurality of elements connected in parallel is adjusted from outside. CONSTITUTION:In the case of the thylistors A and B in parallel and the A has a larger drop of a forward voltage, for instance, the junction temperature is lowered by making the cooling condition stronger than that for B and the drop of the forward voltage is increased. Or, the cooling condition for the B is softened according to the state of condition encountered. For example, when the element is radiating heat by means of water cooling, the condition of radiation can be changed by controlling the quantity of water and by replacing a fin and the like. To make it more simple, the condition of radiation can be changed by inserting the substance having the proper heat conducting property such as a copper plate, for example, in between the element and the fin. Through these procedures, the current allotment can be performed uniformly by uniformalizing the characteristics of each element. |
