A hay-making machine for swath turning and tedding includes two rake wheels (1, 2) and corresponding support wheels. Each rake wheel includes rake arms (14) pivoted to a hub and these rake arms can be swung horizontally between a configuration in which tedding can take place and the rake arms interdigitate during rotation in opposite senses and a configuration in which swath turning is effected with the arms (14) substantially tangential to the hubs. In the latter configuration the arms do not interdigitate, but rotate in the same senses and one lies forwardly of the other in the direction of advance. The arms are also rotatable about their longitudinal axes to vary the disposition of the rake teeth. <IMAGE> |
