PURPOSE:To perform automatic grinding of convex faces on the arcuate rod with high accuracy in such a way that it is pressured onto the convex face sander belts in the frame assembly engaged with a filling body, and right and left tilting rocking movement is given to the filling body. CONSTITUTION:A filling body 20 having an arcuate convex face equal to the convex face of an arcutate rod is put on the plane which revolves at a somewhat higher level than the upper faces of two pieces of sander belts 4, 5, the right and left ends of the filling body 20 are pivotally fixed at the top parts of piston rods of two pieces of hydraulic cylinders, the right and left movement is restricted so as to be able to turn the filling body 20, the convex face of the frame assembly 10 which engages with the filling body 20 is pressured onto the upper faces of the sander belts 4, 5 by means of the weight load, and right and left tilting rocking movement is given to the filling body 20 by means of ascending and descending drive against two pieces of hydraulic cylinders, so that the convex face 1a of the frame assembly 10 facilitates to perform grinding machining with high accuracy and in automatic operation. |
