PURPOSE:To efficiently mass-produce composite articles, even which may have complex irregular shapes, with accuracy true to their designed shapes, and to enable an easy bordering work, by forming a substrate layer in a resin bead foaming method before the formation of an intermediate material layer and a surface material layer in a vacuum forming method, and uniting the layers together. CONSTITUTION:A substrate layer 1 is formed to a desired shape in a resin bead foaming method, a resin injection molding method or a transfer molding method. An intermediate material layer 2 and a surface material layer 3 are formed to desired shapes in a vacuum forming method. Thereafter, these layers are united together. When the substrate layer 1 is formed, a subsidiary metal die 7 is used. When the intermediate material layer 2 and the substrate layer 1 are stuck together, air between the two layers are forcedly discharged. |
