PURPOSE:To provide gel-like liquefied petroleum gas fuel, which has excellent long-term shelf stability and combustibility, by dispersing liquefied petroleum gas in aluminum 2-ethylhexanoate. CONSTITUTION:0.5-10pts.wt. Aluminum 2-ethylhexanoate of the formula (wherein n is 1, 2, 3) as a gelling agent is added to 100pts.wt. liquefied petroleum gas. If desired, further 0.005-0.1pts.wt. eq. soln. of a thickener (e.g. a cellulose derivative such as carboxymethylcellulose or various starches) is added. The mixt. is stirred to effect mixing, whereby frame structure type gel-like liquefied petroleum gas can be obtd. which has excellent stability and combustibility. |
