PURPOSE:To give dirtproofness by the formation of a coat by the application of the soln. of a condensate between a specified polyorganosiloxane and a silanol- terminated polydiorganosiloxane on the easily stainable surface of a resilient silicone body, followed by curing. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. Benzen-soluble polyorganosiloxane consisting of an SiO2 unit and 0.4-1mol, per mol. of said SiO2 unit, of a unit of formula I (wherein R<1> is a monovalent hydrocarbon) and having 0.004-1 reactive group. (e.g., a hydroxy or alkoxy group.) bonded to the silicon atom, per silicon atom, is condensed with 20-200pts.wt. silanol-terminated polydiorganosiloxane. Then the product is dissolved in a mixed solvent consisting of a volatile org. silicon compd. of formula II, III, IV or V (wherein R<2>-R<7> are H or alkyl) having b.p. of 70-250 deg.C and a hydrocarbon. A coat is formed by the application of the resulting soln. on the surface of a resilient silicone body followed by curing. |
