<p>The safety shutter for windows comprises shutter strips, each of which is connected to a transverse bar. The ends of the bars move in guides between an open position in which the strips are concertinaed together and a closed position in which they are regularly spaced with the surfaces of neighbouring strips slightly overlapping. Releasable spring biassed rods locate into the ends of the bars and lock the strips in position, so that the window is protected by anti-theft bars.</p> |
